KUROSIN NINJA ― Speed and versatility in one

This Kurosun is quality and thoughtful, coming from a fast-growing brand that arrived on the market in 2023, where there are alternatives for everything at every price point, yet this Kurosun ranks close to a premium high-end alternative but accessible (for most countries) with a touch of subtlety.

What's in the package and some technical information

Kurosun hasn't neglected the customer experience when unboxing this mouse pad, and there's a lot inside:

It is important to note that a sheet (such as cuission paper) is attached to the base to help the cushion retain its flat shape during transport.

The surface of this mouse pad is "smooth-speed" but maintains a high degree of stability and consistency, with an alpha-cell base, available in 490x420 with a thickness of 3mm for a fixed price of $49!

Surface and base

The surface of the Kurosun Ninja is close to the Otsu, but boasts excellent quality, a premium feel and a design that's simple yet charming. I like it a lot, better than an Otsu, it has a similar feel but all quite unique at the same time!

I find it very consistent precisely despite my gaming sessions on tac-fps (VALORANT / CS2) and even more so on games requiring fairly constant tracking (MW:3 / THE FINALS) The comfort and softness of its surface allow me to play with a much more basic sensitivity on my tac-fps, but with quick and simple movements thanks to the smooth glide of the mouse pad.

I particularly appreciated being able to perform several flicks in game and maintain consistency and stability in my movements and my aim in general. And on highly responsive games like MW:3 and THE FINALS... It was sincerely a pleasure to play with this Kurosun Ninja, the consistency of the glide is clearly noticeable, allowing me to enter a few clips (go on, a few below)

The alpha-cell base is surely one of the most appreciated of my many alpha-cell mouse pads, it clings very well to my desk but doesn't have that overly pronounced "electrostatic" effect, which is rather pleasant when you clean your setup quite regularly and have to remove the pad!

My experience conclusion

My experience with this mouse pad has been excellent, and to be completely transparent, it's easily in my top 5 speed-type mousepads! It could even honestly become my number 1/2 in my long-term ranking, but having the opportunity to change mousepads quite regularly (for my reviews) I sometimes find surprising pads like this one, taking a special place in my selection.

In a market flooded with similar or identical mousepads and limited editions of anime designs aimed at a specific audience and capitalizing on the craze around collecting, Kurosun has succeeded in producing an exceptional mousepad that exudes an impression of superior quality, good craftsmanship, care and correct finish.

Needless to say, I continue to use this pad on a daily basis during my tac-fps gaming sessions, as I really appreciate the feeling of speed

In conclusion, I'd like to highly recommend this mouse pad to anyone still hesitating to buy it, without the slightest hesitation, because for its price and the quality feedback you get, it's clearly an excellent choice!
